House Care Services Italy was founded in 2021 by Giuseppe Carusi after years abroad in Australia and a return to his hometown in Italy with a clear goal: help property owners manage their homes with trusted local support.

We work with overseas owners, foreign buyers, and absentee homeowners who need a reliable team on the ground in Abruzzo. Our role is to make ownership easier through practical coordination, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.

Instead of leaving owners to manage distance, language barriers, and local logistics alone, we provide support across inspections, maintenance coordination, cleaning, utilities, and post-purchase property care.

We also stay aligned with best practices in property care, including standards promoted by the National Association of Residential Property Managers, so our service stays grounded in professional, owner-focused support.

  I've been working with Giuseppe since 2024 and both him and his team have been so helpful with helping me do some small repairs and upgrades to my place. One of which was installing a water storage tank! They are professional, repsonsive and clear and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can rely on them to help me out! Highly recommend.

  Giuseppe at HouseCare Service has been such an asset to us after purchasing a home in Gissi, Italy that had not been lived in for years. He has responded promptly to all of our requests for repairs and updates, arranging for local workers to complete the work. We have been happy with the work that has been done and it was done in a timely fashion. This has saved us countless hours of trying to find someone and communication has been easy as he speaks perfect English. We are from the US so following up on work done would have been impossible without Giuseppe and Orlando. Pricing seemed fair and there was no pressure to do things that were out of our price range. They were honest and let us know when something we wanted to do was not in our best interest. Home care Services also helped us to pay our property taxes. We are more than happy with the services provided and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone, especially those from the US purchasing property in Abruzzo!

  One Hundred percent recommend HouseCare Service - Property Management. They made getting my newly acquired property in Italy ready for us easy.  From the US, all it took was a preliminary video call to inspect the property, discuss what needed to be done, and follow up several times a week with WhatsApp messages. They were always available if I had questions and were very quick to reply. Even with the time difference, I did not feel unattended. I could send messages any time, and they would reply early in the morning. The entire crew speaks English 🙏 Very reliable and trustworthy. They set me up with electricity, water, gas, and internet. They coordinated repairs and construction with the handyman, electrician/plumber, and the cleaning crew.  They also received all the deliveries, including furniture, Ikea, and Amazon. They have also grocery shopped for us, and when we arrived, we found a clean home with new mattresses on the beds and stacked the fridge and pantry items, including bread, wine, water, and fresh herbs plan. So cozy 🥰 Additionally, they provided a house management service where they would come by to check on the house, get the mail, and pay the bills. It is very reasonably priced. Very affordable! And continued to help beyond our arrival with information about services we needed, such as building furniture, hanging shelving, and additional electrical things. Very very helpful 😊 These guys are lovely yo work with and supper professional and reliable. I cannot say enough good things about each and every one of them.   Giuseppe and the team at Home Care Service are wonderful to work with. Trying to get things done in your home as a foreigner came be a challenge. HCS will be there every step of the way guiding and providing services that will allow you more time to enjoy owning a house abroad instead of stressing over it.
